Looking back on the previous maintenance of the excavator in winter, are there any improper or even wrong practices? For example, have you made the following mistakes? Wrong practice 1: discharge water too early or do not discharge cooling water Serious consequences can be caused: cracks appear when the engine block expands or shrinks suddenly. Before flameout, operate at idle speed. When the temperature of cooling water drops below 60 ℃ and the water is not hot, flameout and discharge water. If the cooling water is discharged too early, the body will suddenly shrink and crack when it is attacked by cold air when the temperature is high. When draining water, the residual water in the machine body shall be completely drained to avoid freezing and expansion, which may cause the machine body to burst. Wrong practice 2: randomly select fuel Serious consequences: reduce engine life and increase the probability of damage. The low temperature in winter makes the fluidity of diesel oil worse, the viscosity increases, and it is not easy to spray, resulting in poor atomization, deterioration of combustion, and decline of power and economic performance of diesel engine. Therefore, light diesel oil with low freezing point and good ignition performance should be selected in winter. Generally, the freezing point of the diesel engine shall be 7-10 ℃ lower than the local current season * temperature. Wrong practice 3: starting with open flam Serious consequences can be caused: in serious cases, the machine may be burnt down, and in light cases, the engine may be damaged. The air filter shall not be removed, and it shall be ignited with cotton yarn dipped in diesel oil and then placed in the intake pipe as a primer for combustion supporting starting. In this way, during the starting process, the outside dusty air will be directly sucked into the cylinder without filtering, causing abnormal wear of pistons, cylinders and other parts, as well as rough operation of the diesel engine and damage to the machine. Wrong practice 4: Bake the oil pan with an open flame Serious consequences may be caused: the machine may be burnt down in severe cases, and the wear of the machine may be aggravated in light cases. In order to avoid deterioration of the oil in the oil pan, or even scorching, the lubricating performance will be reduced or completely lost, thus aggravating the wear of the machine. The engine oil with low freezing point shall be selected in winter, and the method of external water bath heating can be used to increase the engine oil temperature during startup.
Wrong practice 5: Improper startup methodSerious consequences: serious damage to the machine. In winter, some drivers often adopt the abnormal starting method of starting without water (starting first, then adding cooling water) in order to start the diesel engine quickly. This practice will cause serious damage to the machine and should not be used. The correct preheating method is: first cover the thermal insulation quilt on the water tank, open the drain valve, and continuously inject 60-70 ℃ clean soft water into the water tank. When the water flowing out of the drain valve feels hot, close the drain valve, fill the water tank with 90-100 ℃ clean soft water, and rotate the crankshaft to make all moving parts properly pre lubricated before starting. Wrong practice 6: low temperature load operationSerious consequences: cause severe wear of the machine. After the diesel engine starts and catches fire, some drivers can't wait to put into load operation immediately. For a diesel engine that has been on fire for a long time, due to the low body temperature and high oil viscosity, the oil is not easy to fill into the friction surface of the moving pair, which will cause serious wear of the machine. In addition, plunger spring, valve spring and injector spring are also easy to break due to "cold brittleness". Therefore, after the diesel engine starts and catches fire in winter, it should be idling at low and medium speed for several minutes, and then put into load operation when the cooling water temperature reaches 60 ℃. Wrong practice 7: do not pay attention to the body insulationSerious consequences: reduce the working life and damage the engine The low temperature in winter may lead to excessive cooling of the diesel engine during operation. Therefore, thermal insulation is the key to using diesel engine well in winter. In northern areas, diesel engines used in winter should be equipped with cold proof equipment such as thermal insulation sleeves and thermal insulation curtains. In addition, the thermostat plays an important role in the temperature rise of the diesel engine during operation. Therefore, check whether the thermostat works normally before winter, and replace the failed thermostat in time. |
